Poor lonely blog

Yea, I haven't been dutiful in the least with posting here. The summer continues to be very dry and very hot. Went up to the Bike Show a couple of weekends ago... I entered my bike but didn't win any prizes... The band was playing some cool tunes and the bikers were all having a good time.
They did almost take a picture, mine is parked to the left of the red screamin eagle vrod, you can only see the front tire... my brush fame ?

Alison and I went for a nice 50 mile spin through NW Dunn County the other night. The new passenger seat is getting broken in!

We're looking forward to the arrival of Ping Ping, the Menomonie Rotary Club's upcoming exchange student from Thailand. She arrives August 25th, we're all looking forward to meeting her.

Here's a fun golf outing.

Last week I went down to the Castle Rock area and played golf at the Northern Bay Golf C lub, where they have replicated a variety of the most famous golf holes from around the country. It was kind of fun to imagine what the pros must feel like Sunday when they are faced with some of these truly daunting challenges.

The course eventually got the better of me as I will avoid reference to my actual score, suffice to say there were some well played holes, and then some others as well. There's an interesting article in the Wisconsin Golf magazine that explains the course for the avid golfers who might be reading...
