Green Friday!

I found relief from the anxiety of shopping on "Black Friday." The warm temps awarded another 18 holes of quality golfing conditions yesterday. The course was so busy that tee times were needed. As expected, the 5 hours of golf was completed with not one mention among the guys of who might be finished/started with their holiday shopping.

The Gravy Factor

The importance of gravy cannot be over-stated. My Mom is shown here demonstrating the proper level of concentration required for this critical final stage process. At this point, the success of the entire day hangs in the balance. If the gravy were to somehow fail to materialize, all that had come before it would be for naught. Obviously, this part can only be trusted to the most skilled and trusted hands. We give thanks for many things each year on this special day. As I think back upon another day of second helpings and sugary indulgences, I give special thanks to the abundant gravy prepared hot, smooth, and in great quantity.

Thanks also for our hosts Brian, Carol & Joe, the entire meal was a huge success again this year. It's good to see our family and friends Jan, Jerry, Fran, Betty, Don, Michelle, Troy, & Tyler.

Too too cute

After the jazz band concert Tuesday night, someone commented on how much Patrick looks like his Mom. Must be true, I've never been as cute as this kid in all my life...

What to do with my hair...

I've been wondering for some time about changing my hairstyle. A friend just decided to poke some fun, and I'm now considering whether it isn't my hair that needs a new look. Alison and Laurie remind me about the importance of accessories... perhaps I need an upgrade of this sort? I do have a friend who added a tattoo that wasn't immediately noticed by those closest to him, no problem here!
