Some of you may have missed my
earlier posting about Brian's boat building project. (the photo is near the bottom of the posting) So now, it's in the final testing stages. I suspect this is a little bit like the guy who builds a model airplane and then is afraid to fly it for fear that it will crash. To be sure, Brian will have the bass boat parked at the ready in the event rescue manuevers are required. Though it's now completely enclosed, you have to see the two cycle gas engine (former weed/wacker) to appreciate the engineering challenges to retrofitting to the marine application.
And see the next picture for the artistry.

Just so you don't miss this... The little guy in the orange helmet, is an actual replica of the Hamms bear. His helmet was fabricated from a golf ball mold... etc. etc... If you don't know my brother, you'll never understand... The preference for all things Hamms goes back to our Grandfather's little tavern in Duluth MN... "The Breeze Inn" was still there last I checked.
I'm hoping I'll be able to attend the christening the "Land of Sky Blue Waters".
